New-Sylvox 15.6" Under Cabinet Kitchen TV(2024 New Mode)

One of the very few undercabinet TV's on the market.
Pros: very high quality construction, heavy duty mounting bracket, excellent image and sound quality, full size remote, perfect Wi-Fi reception, latest streaming services/apps, great digital tuner to receive free broadcast TV channels.
Suggested improvements: undercabinet mounting bracket needs better Left-Right adjustment that would not scratch bracket and its kitchen cabinet, sometimes remote control voice commands and buttons respond with noticeable lag, remote is not water-resistant and requires extra care & cleaning in the kitchen.

This is a specially designed TV for fitting under kitchen cabinets, and it can fold so it's not on display. The picture is good, and it was easy to set up as it uses your Google account and has all the popular streaming apps pre-installed, so you just need to sign in to them. It has all the connectors for various inputs, but if using it under a cabinet, it's probably best with online streaming only.

Fairly easy to set up, takes around 15 minutes total to get Google synced etc.
Picture quality is very good, nice and clear.

Sound quality is pretty good for a small set like this, very clear with decent volume.

The set has enough connections on it for most inputs and the wifi connection is stable and streaming has no issues.

You can wall mount, under mount or just use the mount as a leaning stand.
The main issue is that the power cable is pretty short at around a meter, this could prove problematic if you're tying to mount this in a campervan or kitchen setting away from power outlets.

It's also not the lightest, it's not heavy per se but you may need well installed, decent quality cabinets if you're undermounting it.

Being an Android device with Google Assistant/app it has most of the popular apps installed such as youtube, Netflix, Prime etc and you can add more or stream from phone etc so as a smart TV it's spot on.

Good for installing a "portable" TV in a spare room, or for camping holidays.

Bought this TV to replace old one in kitchen which didn’t have a HDMI socket on it. Easy to set up and previous review said you couldn’t mute the TV which is incorrect there is a mute button on the remote control plus it is a wipeable remote control. Also mentioned was moving the TV from side to side could be a bit stiff which is correct but if you put plastic washers between each side of the screws it works fine which I think Sylvox should incorporate in the fitting instructions.
Another issue is the HDMI sockets are facing upwards so when you fit the HDMI cable to the TV you have to bend the cable quite a bit to get it in so if you move the TV to the side it traps the cable as you swivel and can damage it so you need a right angle HDMI adapter to stop this plus your cable is not bent as much now. The Ariel socket is the same but again put a right angle adaptor on and it solves it. Picture is good as well as sound. These issues can be sorted very easily making it a great TV for your kitchen or anywhere else but I think Sylvox should have a look at putting plastic washers in and adding right angle adapters or move the HDMI sockets and Ariel socket.

This is a great little TV that is great for continuopus viewing. One can be in another room watching one's favourite program then suddenly it is time to make coffee, prep the dinner etc. Rather than leave the cooking etc. until much later one can simply switch this TV on, log in and continue watching whilst prepping / cooking.

The imagery quality is very good, the audio is crisp and clear and the volume level is fine for a kitchen.

Where this TV has an advantage is unlike other kitchen size TVs that stand on a kitchen worktop, which are prone top be knocked and damaged, this small TV is mounted under a kitchen cupboard, out of harms way and it can be conveniently folded up when not needed.

Recommend this TV as; it is quite compact, it's to install, it's loaded with apps, it's simple to set up, it's good quality, it's convenient and it is good value even though it can be better value if the price comes down.
